Fior di Pesco marble is a classic Italian natural stone and the only metamorphic marble from Friuli Venezia Giulia. Fior di Pesco marble is also known as Carnic Fior di Pesco marble, due to its provenance in the Carnic Alps. Fior di Pesco marble is found only in a single quarry in the municipality of Forni Avoltri (Udine).
Fior di Pesco is a prized material in which gray is the predominant color. However, the abundant presence of pink and ivory veins creates an elegant blend with an overall pale purple hue.

The Fior di Pesco Carnico marble quarry is a striking location, an exclusive Margraf property since 1927, with 3,427 tons of blocks extracted in 2023. Coming from the world’s only quarry located in Forni Avoltri, in the province of Udine, this precious Italian marble, thanks to its infinite shades and extraordinary durability, is harmonious and perfectly suited to any indoor or outdoor setting. The quarry represents the first step in the production chain, highlighted by the care taken in extracting the blocks and the intrinsic quality of the material.
